Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Newark, DE, Chandler, AZ, and Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver complex requirements to accomplish business goals 

Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements

Responsible for technology design, development delivery of core reusable components - Frameworks, utilities, technology Proof-Of-concepts, focused domain areas

Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements

Participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle

Ensure defects get resolved during the course of Functional Testing, Regression Testing Performance testing

Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements

Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements

Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work

Lead Implementation plan development for a release or a major program

Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality

Participate, contribute and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes

Experience with delivery of large enterprise level projects. Experience with development and tool set like Jira and Jenkins. Experience with Integration technologies like Web Methods. Kafka and Web Sphere

Requirements:

Experience developing service integration solutions using Web Method

8+ years' experience in Angular and Middleware Service development

Good understanding of Design Patterns and design thinking. Able to apply while developing technical solutions

Familiarity with SOAP and REST Web Services and related technologies (JAX-WS, JAX-RS, XML Technologies).

Web Services Design and development experience as a service provider.

Strong communication/interpersonal skills both written and verbal and the ability to quickly form meaningful working partnerships

Works well under pressure

Manage multiple priorities, be proactive, and deliver quality results under aggressive deadlines.

Self-starter, good aptitude, Problem Solver and someone who is open to learning new technologies and comes with strong analytical

Pay Range: $55.06 - $63.06
