What will be your daily pursuit?:
The IT Network Manager is an integral part of the Pursuit Collection Infrastructure team, contributing to the design, implementation, and management of the network infrastructure that supports all of Pursuit's lines of business. This includes handling technologies such as LAN, WAN, ACI, firewalls, internet, Wi-Fi, circuits, and VPN services. The role collaborates closely with Field Support, IT Operations, Information Security, Server/Storage, and Cloud teams to ensure the availability, security, and performance of network systems. The IT Network Manager combines technical expertise, leadership, and strategic planning to align IT initiatives with overall business goals.

What is the compensation for this role?:
The salary range for this role is $120,000/year to $130,000/year based on experience and skill set. This role is eligible for a yearly 10% bonus. What will you do in this job?:

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead & Mentor: Oversee a team of IT professionals and contractors, fostering motivation, productivity, and professional development.

Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and process efficiencies and implement improvements.

Documentation: Ensure consistency and accuracy in documentation, enabling effective cross-site support.

Budget Management: Help create and manage budgets and forecasts, aligning financial planning with organizational goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with department heads and business stakeholders to understand IT needs and align solutions with business objectives.

Cross-Departmental Communication: Facilitate communication between IT and other departments, ensuring seamless integration of technology into business processes.

Network Infrastructure Design & Implementation:

Infrastructure Management: Design, support, and implement core infrastructure technologies (LAN, WAN, ACI, firewalls, Wi-Fi, circuits, VPNs) as well as virtual and cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

Technology Solutions: Collaborate with business and technical teams to create system specifications and translate business challenges into technical solutions.

Deployment & Testing: Plan, design, manage, test, and execute technology solutions while ensuring deployment risks are understood and mitigated.

Automation: Identify and implement process improvements or automation in day-to-day operations to improve network performance and efficiency.

Network Operations & Support:

Maintenance & Monitoring: Maintain and monitor the ongoing reliability, performance, and security of the network infrastructure.

Problem Solving: Analyze, classify, and prioritize network issues, providing appropriate solutions and remedies.

Multi-System Support: Support multiple complex systems or applications with numerous users, ensuring control and accessibility.

Vendor Relations: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve technical issues with systems and software and ensure exceptional service delivery.

4. Security & Compliance:

Network Security: Communicate and address network security vulnerabilities, implement necessary solutions, and adjust security configurations as needed.

Compliance & Auditing: Participate in information security audits and ensure technical compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, PCI).

Disaster Recovery: Contribute to disaster recovery planning, ensuring the business's IT infrastructure can recover from potential incidents.

Project Management & Technical Leadership:

Enterprise Projects: Lead enterprise-wide initiatives and projects, ensuring all deliverables are met within scope and time.

Operational Insight: Act as a liaison between operations teams, engineers, and architects, providing critical insights for new implementations and strategies.

Cost Estimation: Develop accurate cost and time estimates for network-related projects.

Change Management: Track and document all network activities, ensuring compliance with request for change (RFC) protocols to mitigate risks.

Additional Technical Responsibilities:

System Upgrades: Design, install, maintain, and upgrade the network infrastructure.

Facilities & Capacity Planning: Analyze facilities' bandwidth requirements and address capacity planning issues.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and remediate complex networking issues independently and in a timely manner.

Software & Hardware Management: Analyze and implement changes to network hardware and software as needed.

Wireless Networks: Establish and configure wireless device profiles, LAN/WAN settings, and security protocols.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Qualifications

A degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum five years of technical experience in an enterprise Cisco environment.

Minimum five years of network administration experience, including VLAN creation, routing, switching, and using network monitoring tools.

Proven experience collaborating with departments such as executives, facilities, HR, finance, and operations, and external partners.

Solid knowledge and experience with network routing and switching.

Experience with Cisco routers and switches, Wi-Fi, including Cisco DNA, and Meraki Wireless.

Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and MS Azure Cloud technologies.

Experience with SD-WAN technologies and new circuit deployment.

Skills

Ability to author technical documentation and use it to inform diverse operational teams.

Self-starter and thought leader, expected to propose innovative ideas and solutions for the infrastructure department.

Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and patiently to audiences with varying technical backgrounds, whether in person, over the phone, or via email.

Willingness to work with geographically dispersed teams in a seasonal environment.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced setting.

High sense of urgency to complete tasks accurately and on time.

Strong knowledge of IT principles, practices, and emerging technologies.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.

Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Willingness to travel up to 25% for the role.
