The A.C. Coy Company has an immediate opening for a Front End Developer. Qualified candidates will develop complex custom software applications from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
Develop enterprise-grade applications with complex requirements as part of a team
Create visually appealing and responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
Understand and translate user requirements into functional application requirements
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design concepts
Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
Implement and maintain content management systems
Test and validate web forms and interactive elements
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end systems
Optimize website performance for speed and efficiency
Debug and troubleshoot web issues
Stay current and provide insight on cutting edge software approaches, architectures, tools, and platforms
Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when designing and building solution
Follow common industry standards and best practices
Qualifications:
Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of software development
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
Knowledge of responsive web design principles
Familiarity with front-end frameworks, like React, Angular, or Vue.js
Working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Docker and/or Kubernetes
Experience utilizing GitHub, Jira, and Confluence, or similar tools
Experience with test driven development
Comfortable with both waterfall and Scrum development methodologies
Knowledge of web accessibility standards
Excellent communication skills
A continuous learning mindset to stay up to date with evolving web technologies
Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
