Job Requirements / Description
Title: Senior Engineer, IT Systems (PUPPET SME)
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Duration: 6 months contract to hire
Compensation: $68-70/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Skillset / Experience:
• 2-3 years of full stack development experience with React, Web Services, Python, Fast API
• 1-3 years of working in Linux operating system and shell scripting
• 1-3 years of working in Windows operating system and PowerShell
• Demonstrated expertise utilizing Puppet is a must
• Advanced development/configuration with Ansible
• Experience with Cloud platform such as Azure
• Working knowledge of common networking protocols (e.g., HTTP, TCP, IP, SSH, FTP, SMTP, DNS, LDAP), load balancer, firewall, storage
• Strong knowledge with creating and maintaining CI/CD Pipeline processes and related automation tooling
• Experience with API development, Azure DevOps, yaml pipelines, GitHub & GitHub Actions, VMware VRA/VRO
• Capable of writing comprehensive technical documentation and diagrams
