Clinical Applications Support Data Center Migration



This is a W-2-only position (no staffing agencies or contractors). Candidates must be currently in the U.S.A.

Remote

Core Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for a "Lift and Shift" project, migrating existing production applications and integrations to a new data center and servers as part of the divestiture of Medicare Advantage and Care Allies from to HCSC. The ideal candidate should have a diverse background with experience in large-scale architecture migrations.



Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert content and professional leadership on complex application development assignments and projects.

Work closely with client and technology management to identify end-to-end application architecture currently in production.

Collaborate with development team members to request hardware, map integrations, and catalog user and service account access required to seamlessly support all current assets in the new data center.

Document, test, implement, and provide ongoing support for new architecture as it is developed.

Exercise creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.

Use deep professional knowledge to advise functional leaders.

Oversee production deployments and perform system checks once deployment is complete.

Provide thought leadership within application development while working on broader projects that require an understanding of the wider business.

Perform occasional off-hours or on-call work.



Required Experience / Qualifications:

Previous hands-on experience in large system conversions or mergers, with a focus on analyzing all existing processes to ensure no gaps during conversion.

Proficiency in Apache Maven, SAML, C#, HTML, Linux, ISAM, and SQL.

Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on delivering superior customer service at all organizational levels.

Highly responsive and organized, with the ability to address issues quickly as they arise.

Prior experience in healthcare technology.



Desired Experience / Qualifications:

Understanding of Medicare and/or Medicaid industries.

Knowledge of XML, YAML, JSON, Python, MVC, JavaScript, and CSS.
