One of the nation's largest diagnostic imaging centers, has an immediate need for CT Tech Lead.
Type: Direct Hire/ Perm
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, Saturday Rotation 2x a month 8am-12pm
Location: Bayonne, NJ
Description
* Lead CT Tech who will report into the Center Director and be responsible for scheduling and managing the other CT techs at the facility
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
* Provide the Imaging Center Manager (ICM) with feedback regarding performance and quality of technologists.
* Manage and provide coaching, training, support and motivation to team members along with scheduling and ordering on sight.
* Monitor and document performance during performance periods and provides documentation to the ICM.
* Promote flexibility in staff utilization and delegate work appropriately across teams and departments.
* Adheres to all OSHA regulations, client practices and generally accepted safety protocols.
* Performs technologist duties to maintain technical skills and to alleviate staffing shortages.
* Provide input for hiring and performance evaluation of Ultrasound employees
* Acts on behalf of the ICM when individual is unavailable.
* 64 Slice GE CT Scanner to be used, will need to test strokes and head injuries, know how to do injections and IV with Contrast.
* Will need to be able to work alone and take X ray
* EMR – Epic and McKesson
Requirements
* ARRT(R) (CT) certification
* State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
* CPR certification
* A familiarity with and ability to use equipment in including RIS, imaging equipment and PACS.
* A demonstrated the ability to maintain all required quality standards
