Job Requirements / Description
Opening with our client for a Level I IT Field Technician. Work from home/remote and also travel to client sites in western PA and eastern OH areas. Must have high-speed internet and reliable transportation. (Mileage reimbursement for travel).
The IT Technician will troubleshoot and resolve assigned customer issues and work on various internal IT projects as needed. Work will be a mix of onsite (traveling to client sites in Western PA and Eastern OH) and remote support, primarily on macOS and iOS operating systems.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on macOS desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other devices including iOS.
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software on desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other devices
Assist with managing software updates, application installs, and configuration of managed computers (via RMM and MDM)
Troubleshoot basic networking issues
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of hardware and software systems
Qualifications
Experience providing support for macOS
Ability to learn basic Linux skills
Basic understanding of Command Prompts, networking and how VPNs work
Ability to learn and use internal IT tools and processes
Ability to learn new systems and procedures
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with customers in a friendly and professional
Reliable, high-speed internet connection
License, car insurance, and access to reliable transportation
