Job Description
We are looking for a junior or mid-level IT Engineer, who feels comfortable with IT software in the categories of Project Management, Whiteboarding & Ideation, Intranet, and Federated Search. Experience in the full software lifecycle and general application support is favorable as you will be providing specialized solutions in Digital Workplace services, optimization, and general end-user experience.
Applicant should have strong experience with ServiceNow EC Platform (Intranet) and various productivity apps.
As part of the Project Team, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing a Digital Workplace setup for various employee teams and stakeholders across various locations. Hands-on experience in both building and ongoing operational excellence is essential.
You will work with other, highly qualified application developers, admins, analysts, and engineers in cross-functional teams.
A big advantage of the role is that you will have an end-to-end understanding and influence on what is being built.
Responsibilities
Your activities will mostly be connected with designing, building, testing, and implementing modern workplace technologies in an enterprise environment. You will work with IT Infrastructure and other business teams to deliver quality solutions and documentation, including clear procedures and work instructions. You will impact improvements of processes, integrations, and automation of solutions.
By working together with the solutions teams, business analysts, and stakeholders you will prepare solutions designs and support the end-user with migration activities into the new infrastructure, custom solutions, and ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications
We are looking for a person with previous experience in a similar field of infrastructure transformation.
3-5+ years of experience in Digital Workplace applications
3+ years of experience with Smartsheet and other Project Management Applications
Strong experience in Jira and Confluence
Experience with creating dashboards, reports, wireframes, and knowledge-base articles
Experience with Smartsheet, Figma, Lucid, various Intranet and search systems, as well as public cloud providers (Azure), SAML/SCIM, and automation.
Experience with Microsoft, SharePoint, and Slack is a bonus.
From a security point of view, it's important for you to be familiar with Cloud App Security
Be a communicative team player, who doesn't only read technical documentation well, but also collaborates with other team members and business stakeholders.
Excellent knowledge around UI/UX.
Experience with ticket cues (Service Now, JIRA) & change management
Strong problem solving, data visualization and communication skills
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
Coding tasks and knowledge of Postman, Python is a bonus, but not required
Ability to work in ambiguity as the company is constantly changing
Application Portfolio Management support (review of incoming requests, cross reference for SOF/SCR, help general process workflow)
Be able to manage smaller projects to help improve our digital workplace apps.
Manage our Slack channel to help assist our service desk team.
Provide white glove support for our users who need more hand on support on some of our applications.
Write and update Knowledge base articles to help the service desk understand processes.
Other apps we work closely with include Lucid, Figma, Adobe Suite, Intranet, Federated Search, Calendly, Grammarly, Airtable, Asana
