About Client:
The client provides information technology (IT) services, including business outsourcing, infrastructure technology, and application services. The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.
Rate Range: $55-$58/Hr
Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
BAU support of the application including investigation of business logic in PL/SQL.
Raise release tickets and coordinate various teams for database patches on weekend.
Migration of the application to AWS/RDS.
Perform database performance tuning and monitoring.
Take care of the database code/design and implementation.
Interface with production DBA, SA teams for technical support.
Coordinate with PM team for Geneos monitoring and Autosys scripts and scheduling setup.
Responsible for database activities including data copy, database security , database troubleshooting.
Very strong in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
Very Strong in DBA activities including Oracle performance tuning and database trouble shooting.
Good Knowledge in Linux and experience creating shell scripts.
Experience in AWS/RDS is a plus.
Experience in creating Jules build for database deployment is a plus.
