Overview:
Renuity is seeking a remote Senior Microsoft SQL Developer/DBA supporting Bylte’s LeadPerfection products. This role will be responsible for supporting and executing the engineering requirements across all platforms with an emphasis on data conversions and server optimization.

What You'll Do:
Support the process, engagement, delivery, and operations of engineering development
Support the growth of the engineering team
Collaborate across the team to drive priorities
Understand the needs of the customer, identify opportunities and make recommendations to scale the product line
Provide best method options for using the system facilitating customer success
Complete all tiers of customization for all platforms
Conducts training and discovery sessions with clients
Modifies existing codebase dependent on customer needs or requests
Creates new features and enhancements to grow the system and codebase
Manage Data Conversions for new and existing customers
Supports weekly client consulting meetings
Communicate advanced client issues with internal managers for resolution
Communicate with clients to gather requirements for system changes
Participate in design reviews with peers and collaborators to ensure correct solution is picked
Review code with peers to provide and get feedback on implemented solution
Triage issues and provide debugging and tracking support to resolve them
Contribute to documenting existing codebase
What You'll Bring:
4+ years of hands-on software development experience
B.S., or M.S., and/or 3+ years of professional experience designing and implementing full stack applications
Full Stack Software Developer a plus
Experience designing, developing and maintaining software services or solutions
Expertise with custom software applications a plus
Expertise with HTML, CSS and Javascript a plus
Expertise with .NET languages a plus
Extensive experience with MS SQL Server a must
Experience with query optimization a must
Experience with home improvement or construction industries a plus
Experience in customer facing jobs a plus
Experience refactoring existing code a plus
Extensive experience with Web and Mobile Application Development, RESTful API design, Microservices
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Self-starter works independently with limited direction to complete work assignments accurately and on time
Understanding of project and system development life cycles
Good interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with both technical and functional colleagues and clients in a geographically dispersed environment
Strong customer service orientation
Strong team-oriented skills
Able to quickly learn new and existing technologies
UI/UX development experience a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
