Job Summary:
We are seeking an AWS Cloud Application Engineer with DevOps experience to join our team. The AWS Application/DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications on the AWS platform while also automating and streamlining the DevOps processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, cloud computing, and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications on the AWS platform.
Automate and streamline the DevOps processes using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure to support applications and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements and develop project plans.
Ensure applications and infrastructure meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and applications.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in AWS, cloud computing, and DevOps.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in software development, cloud computing, and DevOps practices.
Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS, EFS and CloudFormation.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
Experience with DevOps practices such as continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), version control, and infrastructure as code.
Experience with managing DevOps tools such as Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Ansible in AWS cloud
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
AWS Certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
