Basic Qualifications :
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Systems Architect, Colorado Springs, CO

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a Systems Architect, you will support the development and review of interface documents, system requirements, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) development, architectural documentation, system engineering estimates, and author and perform formal and informal engineering reviews. The successful Systems Architect will also support to junior systems engineering team members to enhance skills in the department and act as a technical interface to working level counterparts in various sections and customer offices. Some travel will be required.

Development of system engineering artifacts including definition of Epics and Features to implement customer requested capabilities
Development and review of interface documents, system requirements, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) development, architectural documentation, system engineering estimates, and author and perform formal and informal engineering reviews
Experience with complex command and control systems, mission analysis, performance analysis, requirements solicitation, decomposition, and management, application of modeling to testing and verification
Possess the ability to be part of an integrated team tasked with developing and maintaining the physical, functional, and technical baselines necessary to describe the desired capabilities of an evolving command and control system
What sets you apart:
Demonstrated experience in the development of models to drive solutions in complex systems is required with specific demonstrated expertise in DoDAF and SysML methodology
Experience in the development of key diagram types to create logical and physical models that depict static and dynamic behavior, performance, element interactions, internal and external interfaces, states, and modes
Experience in transitioning a mature and evolving project into MBSE is highly desired
Experience with Cameo (or Magic Draw), Enterprise Architect, Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements (DOORs) to manage multiple product baselines
Experience with requirements solicitation, derivation, and decomposition to lower level subsystems and components
Skills in logical architecture modeling and/or interface definition, as well as knowledge of cyber security concepts and security accreditation are highly desirable
