Job Title: Oracle EPM - Senior Business Analyst

Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Business Analyst to join our client's team on a full-time basis in Memphis TN.  We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of Oracle EPM applications to work with Finance Stakeholders to design, develop, and customize Oracle EPM FCC and Planning applications .

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and recommend optimal EPM solutions

Develop and execute test cases, validate results, and troubleshoot issues

Develop and deliver training to new users and ongoing skill enhancement training to existing users; update and improve training materials as needed

Partner with users to collect and document business requirements for system enhancements and improvements

Promote effective communications with FP&A system users on timelines, system processes, guidance, assumptions and system availability 

Develop and maintain catalog of all business rule calculation scripts, allocations, and custom calculations; perform validation that rules are functioning properly 

Perform monthly planning system maintenance tasks including scenario / version rollovers and accurate synchronization / integration of data from other financial systems 

Develop and run EPM reports, and dashboards 

Responsible for updating artifact and process documentation

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, Certifications/Licenses:

Bachelors degree in MIS, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science or closely related field 

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a financial systems administrator role 

Understanding of FP&A processes including bottom-up planning, scenario modelling, allocations, account reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and top-side adjustments 

Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud applications such as FCC, EPBCS, EPCM, Narrative Reporting, and Smart View 

Expertise in EPM Development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, process designing, artifact development, testing, migration, and maintenance 

Experience in EPM process automation through EPM Automate, REST API, and PowerShell scripting 

Hands on experience with Groovy and Essbase calc scripts 

Experience integrating cloud and On-Premise applications to EPM using Data Management, data maps, and Groovy scripting 

Sound understanding of accounting concepts and processes 

EPM On-Premise/Cloud certification is a plus

Business/Finance analyst mindset

Outstanding written and oral communication

Problem solving - ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
