Java Developer

Our client, one of the largest financial services firms, is seeking a Java Developer.

Position Type: Contract

Location: Tampa, FL / New York, NY

Schedule: Hybrid

Role Overview:

• Design, develop and implement services/APIs that drive global financial operations.

• Lead cross-functional teams in delivering solutions using a modern tech stack.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: 7 + years in software development, with a strong focus on API and service development.

• Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with Springboot, Apache Camel, OpenShift, AWS, Kubernetes, and API Gateway technologies (e.g., Apigee).

• Proficient in JSON, XML, YAML, XSD, XSLT, and XPATH.

• Messaging Systems: Hands-on experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or JMS is highly desirable.

• Finance Domain: Experience in the financial services domain is a significant advantage.
