Job Description: This role will support contract owners in managing third-party risks and ensuring compliance with risk policies. Additionally, this role will assist in the daily operations of our third-party workforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations, risk management, compliance, and vendor management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement processes to effectively govern third-party relationships.
- Ensure contract owners are managing their third parties in compliance with risk policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments with contract owners to identify and mitigate third-party risks.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of third parties and their compliance status.
- Assist contract owners in identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with third-party relationships.
- Support contract owners with the development of risk mitigation strategies and action plans ensuring third parties are adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management activities and controls.
- Develop and deliver training programs for contract owners on compliance and risk management best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Operations areas, OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Operations areas, OR
- Project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Data analysis, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and risk management software
- Certification in risk management or compliance (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISM)
