Responsibilities:
As a Scrum Master, your job is to aid the teams in their work. This includes:

Facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives

Assisting the team Product Owner in managing the product backlog

Removing impediments and blockers that are hindering the team's progress

Ensuring the team follows Scrum principles and practices

Shielding the team from external distractions and interruptions

Communicating project status, risk, and issues with management and stakeholders

Documenting and updating requirements in Sponsor's change management tool and moving requirements though Sponsor's change management/governance process to full delivery

Recording minutes and action items from meetings in support of engineering projects, as requested

Conducting and participating in engineering reviews, design reviews, technical exchange meetings, and working group meetings to record and document functional requirements, schedules, or potential problems

Qualifications:
Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or a scientific or technical discipline

BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7

Analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts/theories for various projects

Technology Design - Adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs

Ability to logically and systematically convert customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints

Ability to analyze and study complex system requirements, for example:Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, cost estimation, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Apply the concept of operations set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design and construction of information systems across a major sector of the organization

Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology

Experience with activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques

Ability to fully perform tasks requiring the collecting, compiling, evaluating, and publishing of information and statistical data

Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals

Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills

Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions

Desired Qualifications:

Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment

Ability to coordinate with engineers, systems analysts, programmers, technicians, scientists, and top-level management

Experience working on a software development team

Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices

Ability to lead and facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, such as daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective

Ability to guide and coach Scrum Teams on how to use Agile practices

Experience using Agile project management tools, such as Jira

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master

Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master {CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
