Our Client, a Technology company, is looking for UX Research Associate for their Mountain View, CA/ Hybrid location
Responsibilities:
The Project Starline team works on innovative new tech with the aim of making communication feel present, immersive, and real, no matter where in the world you are.
Several of our recent initiatives are pilot projects that are being used at scale for the first time.
As UX Researcher, you’ll support the evaluation of these initiatives by collecting and analyzing user feedback and survey data.
The UX Research Associate will conduct mixed-methods research using quantitative and qualitative methodologies (e.g., surveys, interviews, usability testing), analyze data, and report findings to cross-functional stakeholders across our wider team.
Manage survey fielding, analyze survey data, report findings.
Plan and design UXR studies.
Conduct mixed-methods UXR studies (e.g., usability testing, interviews), analyze data, and report findings
Requirements
M.A/M.S or Ph.D. (completed) in Psychology, Sociology, Human Factors, HCI/Computer Science, or other related fields or equivalent practical experience
1-3 years of work experience or relevant graduate-school research experience
Experience with Qualtrics or other survey fielding tools.
Experience with SPSS, R, or other data cleaning & analysis tools.
Basic familiarity with each of the following methods, and in-depth expertise in one or more of the following:
Usability studies
Concept tests
Competitive benchmarks
Diary studies
User interviews
Field research
Behavioral science experiments
Surveys
Detail-oriented and ability to work independently on a variety of tasks
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Can prioritize time between multiple projects, and be flexible by adapting to changing schedules and different projects
