CTG is seeking to fill a Business Process Specialist - Analytics & Data Science opening for our client in Houston, TX.
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 18 months
Duties:
Support the Operations ITOT Project Systems team during Merger, Acquisition, and Divestiture activities.
Represent Project Systems in the planning, design, and implementation of S4/Hana to replace the current ECC/SAP R3.
Assist in run-the-business activities, including troubleshooting issues and updating training documentation.
Skills:
Competency in SAP R3 for procurement and financial management of capital projects (project work breakdown structure, reporting, purchase requisitions/purchase orders, DoA, taxation).
Knowledge in Materials Management and Contractor Labor Services.
Experience in IT.
Understanding of Procurement/Sourcing processes for material and labor/service requests and integration with project execution.
Familiarity with the relationships between Purchasing, Sourcing, Accounts Payable, Finance, Tax, Requisitioners, Expeditors, and Receivers.
Fast learner with strong attention to detail and a result-oriented mindset.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role supporting project systems and procurement processes is highly desirable.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
