Overview:
Cox Automotive is looking for a skilled Technical Analyst to support the Manheim New Orleans and Manheim Lafayette auction sites in the New Orleans, LA area. As the primary technology contact for revenue-generating locations (like Manheim Auto Auction), the Technical Analyst (TA) is responsible for delivering and maintaining technology solutions. The TA collaborates with project teams and business owners on system design, development, testing, and post-launch support, ensuring the integrity and security of network devices and workflows. Key duties include managing infrastructure interconnectivity, designing system expansions based on business needs, and leading projects related to construction, business changes, and corporate initiatives. The TA also engages with third-party vendors to engineer solutions when necessary. The TA supports a client base of 200 to 1,000 team members, driving technology adoption, training, and client satisfaction. They also participate in management meetings to influence operations and technology decisions while adhering to company standards. A broad understanding of the client's operations and service portfolio is essential for providing guidance and support in this role.

This is a 10-month W2 contract assignment with the opportunity for contract extension or to transition to a permanent, full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the Technical Analyst:

Hardware procurement, delivery, implementation, and maintenance.

Maintain documentation of physical assets in configuration and asset management records.

Monitor the availability, performance, and throughput of supported technology infrastructure to proactively identify issues and remediate.

Manage and maintain all infrastructure hardware and software ensuring they remain available at all required times.  Tests and provides recommendations for replacement or upgrade of hardware or software to ensure business continuity.  

Maintain technology infrastructure support technical documentation.

Lead location in disaster recovery for technology.

Perform technology support, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, and peripheral devices.

Perform research and develop solutions for hardware and software issues.

Update incident records and knowledge base with appropriate and timely information.

Recommend and develops solutions, resolve problems associated with incidents, and update problem records.

Conduct root cause analysis. 

Submit requests for change records to remove errors.

The role requires a high level of autonomy correlating to workflow.  This is a results-driven position requiring knowledge of all facets of technology such as networking, software, and hardware.

Work with project teams to review and assess impact of new business requirements.

Contribute to technical aspects of key change documentation (e.g. technical requirements, change impact assessments, change implementation plans, change rollout plans).

Ensure the capacity, availability, security, and service support requirements are considered in all technology infrastructure changes.

Implement, test, and monitor technology infrastructure changes in line with change implementation plans.

Ensure technology infrastructure changes meet agreed service acceptance criteria.

Maintain asset and configuration management records.

Provide technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures.

Contribute to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work.

Implement agreed changes and maintenance routines.

Identify operational problems and ensuring they are managed in accordance with agreed standards and procedures.

Provide reports and proposals for improvement.

Act as the routine contact point.

Assist with the development of and applies solutions to resolve or escalate clients’ service problems.

Monitor client services function and collects performance data.

Data retention management is required for this role for the client’s legal archive.

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications of the Technical Analyst:

Bachelor’s degree in related field.

A minimum of 5+ years experience in a related technical role.

Working experience supporting end-user computing devices.

Working experience working with incident, problem, and change management.

Working experience in an ITIL-based environment.

Working experience as a participant in a change management process.

Working experience of Microsoft Office products.

Ability to walk, stand, squat, kneel and climb to perform essential job duties required to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain technology equipment.

Excellent customer service skills required. The ability to meet SLAs and update customer with progress.

Additional Tech Certification: A+, Network+, MCP, MCDST.

Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP).

Network certificates.

Working experience in Series/AS400 support.

Working experience in wireless (Mobile, WiFi, WAP).

Working experience in network.

Working experience in audio/visual.

Working experience in Project Management.

Experience communicating with stakeholders.
