Sr. Software Engineer
Location: Tech Hubs, In order of preference: Pittsburgh, PA / Strongsville, OH / Dallas, TX
Shift Times/Preferred Time Zone Core Hours 8-5 EST
Length of Assignment: 6 Months with Possible Conversion
Looking for an experienced Senior Developer focusing on enhancing, customizing, and deploying Actimize products. The candidate should have a strong background in development, and product design, with the ability to translate requirements into effective solutions. The candidate will work in close collaboration with product owners and other developers, and while leadership capabilities are appreciated, they are not a core requirement. Proficiency with Actimize Products, Understanding and not a mandate - in Java and SQL, Plus to have no mandate - Oracle 19c, Experience with Linux RHEL 8.X and Apache, Scripting knowledge is good, can consider remote candidate, hybrid 2-3 days in a week, Agile Methodology Proficiency. Other tech hubs are okay too but the manager is big on collaboration stick with the three locations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and customize Activize products, with a focus on iPhone versions
Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to execution and implementation.
Work closely with product owners to understand and translate business requirements.
Provide assistance and troubleshooting support to junior developers.
Ensure the quality and performance of applications through testing and maintenance.
Understanding of development methodologies and management principles.
Skills
Basic understanding of scripting (e.g., Linux scripting) and policy management.
Experience with additional Actimize products such as Sound or AIS.
Knowledge of Oracle, Java, and SQL is a plus but not required.
Proficiency with Actimize Products:
Actimize IFM-x 10.1
Actimize AIS 4.32, 4.34
Actimize RCM 4.15
Actimize ActOne 6.5, 6.6
Education: Bach preferred but not required, exp more important
Years of experience: 5-7 Years
