Pay Range: $60 - $63.22/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Key Skills: 3D, or 3D display or 3D imaging, AR or VR, Manage survey fielding, analyze survey data, report findings.
Plan and design UXR studies.
Conduct mixed-methods UXR studies (e.g., usability testing, interviews), analyze data, and report findings
M.A/M.S or Ph.D. (completed) in Psychology, Sociology, Human Factors, HCI/Computer Science, or other related fields or equivalent practical experience.
1-3 years of work experience or relevant graduate-school research experience
Experience with Qualtrics or other survey fielding tools.
Experience with SPSS, R, or other data cleaning & analysis tools.
Basic familiarity with each of the following methods, and in-depth expertise in one or more of the following:
Usability studies
Concept tests
Competitive benchmarks
Diary studies
User interviews
Field research
Behavioral science experiments
Surveys
Detail-oriented and ability to work independently on a variety of tasks
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Can prioritize time between multiple projects, and be flexible by adapting to changing schedules and different projects.
Ph.D. (completed) in Human Factors, Social Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Product Design, or other field.
Strong knowledge of experimental design and statistical analysis.
Technical aptitude, familiarity with basic graphic and video editing tools.
