Job Title: Senior Program Manager
Location: Oakland, CA
Duration: 4-Month Contract
Work Type: Hybrid
Pay Range : $80/hr
Position Summary:
Seeking a highly motivated Senior Program Manager to lead and manage the Contract Governance and Deal Evaluation process within the IT Office of the CIO. This role will involve identifying, assessing, and executing opportunities to improve cost, quality, partner performance, speed to market, and establishing robust metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
Document findings, recommendations, and deal summaries for executives.
Capture decisions and action items via meeting minutes and ensure timely completion.
Manage technology intake process, analyze IT procurement requests, and offer informed recommendations.
Develop and enhance governance frameworks for IT technology procurement.
Liaise with IT, architecture, security, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance.
Develop strategies for technology rationalization and optimization.
Identify risks in IT contract structures and propose mitigation strategies.
Monitor IT portfolio budgets and ensure cost control.
Stay updated on industry best practices, legal trends, and technology developments related to IT contracts.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT Management, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in IT contract management, procurement, or governance.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software licensing, cloud services, and vendor management.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Financial acumen.
Desired Qualifications:
Regulatory experience
Proficiency with project management and business software
Advanced degree (MS or MBA)

No mileage or meals reimbursement for 1 round trip to Oakland or San Ramon 2-3 days per week.
