Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated ERP Techno-Functional Engineer who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and enjoys solving complex challenges. In this role, you will design, develop, and support ERP applications, including both packaged and custom solutions. You will work closely with key users, business analysts, and IT teams to integrate and enhance our ERP systems, ensuring seamless operation across the organization. This position requires expertise in both technical development and functional business process knowledge, contributing to the growth and optimization of our technological ecosystem.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

Design, configure, integrate, test, and maintain enhancements and features for ERP and related applications.

Ensure seamless integration of solutions into existing system architecture, working with business analysts to meet application requirements.

Create and enhance extension objects with coding to automate events within the ERP system.

Develop and maintain external applications using API/WebService integration technologies (REST/SOAP).

Prepare technical documentation, reports, and instructional materials for custom program development.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Troubleshoot application issues and performance anomalies, providing timely support.

Monitor nightly batch processes, addressing any failures promptly.

Work with the infrastructure team to optimize hardware and software performance.

Consultation and Project Management:

Serve as an internal consultant, helping design and analyze new systems and programs.

Occasionally manage projects, ensuring collaboration and monitoring activities for accuracy and completion.

Best Practices and Compliance:

Adhere to software development life cycle processes to deliver high-quality products.

Stay updated on industry practices and utilize tools for efficient, maintainable software development.

Ensure compliance with information security standards and utilize code scanning tools when necessary.

Key Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ERP development, integration, and reporting/analytics.

Business Process Knowledge: Experience in Logistics, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance ERP modules.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in C#, C++, SQL, web services, OData, and database management software.

ERP Expertise: Experience with SAP ByDesign is a plus.

Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems such as GIT and SVN.

Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Team Environment: Ability to thrive in a small IT team, showing flexibility and adaptability.
