Job Summary:

The Application & Licensing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Application & Licensing Director in the preparation, submission and navigation of regulatory approvals for applications and licenses for current and new markets. In addition, the Application & Licensing Specialist will provide general executive and administrative support. Collaborates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to promote the Client values, team culture and mission.

Essential Duties:

Conduct research and prepare materials for feasibility and market studies, letters of intent, requests for proposals (RFPs), PACE provider applications, state required licensing applications, and others.

Conduct research for federal, state, and local rules and regulations to ensure inclusion in project documents as appropriate.

Review technical documentation for projects to meet all submission instructions and requirements and assist with the preparation of submissions.

Manage timeline of projects to meet internal and external deadlines.

Interface and communicate with federal and state agencies regarding status and necessary steps for approval of projects.

Coordinate the completion of projects with other team members and departments, as necessary.

Anticipate needs and provide high-level administrative support.

Manage calendars and schedules for multiple team members.

Assist with special projects, as needed.

Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Protect privacy and maintain confidentiality of all company procedures and information about team members, participants, and families.

Follow Client policies and procedures and participate in any required Quality Improvement activities, staff training and meetings.

Communicate regularly with Supervisor and team regarding workload and priorities.

Timely completion of all mandated trainings and education.

Timely completion of all mandated occupational health screenings as needed.

Exercises flexibility in performing assignments as business needs evolve.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience with application or grant management, or a closely related field.

Experience with or working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, rules, and guidelines pertinent to PACE programs preferred.

Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills.

Work under time constraints to assist in meeting deadlines set internally and by government agencies.

Customer service mindset.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Experience and competency working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Education: Master’s Degree.
