Job Summary::

 

Business Systems Administrator III is responsible for performing a wide range of business system confidential activities, including, but not limited to auditing employee records, configuring process workflows, and conducting system audits to include data integrity and accuracy.

Maintains system security and performance in supported business systems. Ability to use higher-level administrative and analytical skills to advance the needs of the department. Provide system administrative support on a day-to-day basis and contribute to the long-run development of HRIS and other business systems functions. Business Systems Administrator III is also responsible for building positive relationships with vendors while ensuring that software systems and related procedures enhance and support our institutional goals. In addition, the successful candidate will assist project teams with technical issues and implementations.

Essential Functions::
Responsible for high-level system configuration and security in accordance with internal DTO policies, procedures, and best practices.

Responsible for ensuring optimal performance of the SWK Learning Management System (LMS).

Ensures system compliance with SWK policies, as well as data security and privacy requirements.

Provides high-level system expertise and develops custom workflows and reports to support various business needs.

Conducts ongoing research to find new ways to utilize business systems for productivity and efficiency.

Engages in extensive research and education to become an expert on SWK business applications, stay up to date with enhancements, and assist with testing new product features.

Collaborates with all SWKey departments to monitor overall system activities.

Monitors and maintains the functioning of all APIs and interfaces, identifying and resolving any errors to ensure timely and accurate data transfer.

Proactively monitors, troubleshoots, reports, resolves, and escalates issues with supported business platforms.

Works closely with other System Administrators and DTO leaders to manage projects and activities.

Assists in end-user training to promote goodwill, confidence, and credibility, exceeding customer expectations in terms of product, service, and support.

Prepares, reviews, interprets, analyzes, and approves various data, information, and reports, making recommendations based on findings.

Provides exceptional internal and external customer service, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in job performance.

Other Functions::
Assist with assigned special projects and tasks as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements::
Bachelor’s Degree or additional years of required experience in business systems maintenance may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-per-year basis for up to four years.

5+ years of experience performing high-level system administrative duties.

Must possess a valid state driver’s license and be eligible to drive to conduct business on behalf of SWK.

Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), interpersonal skills, presentation, and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Advanced knowledge of LMS applications, preferably Litmos.

Experience with managing or supporting enterprise software applications.

Must be organized, thorough, reliable, and consistent.

Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Ability to use high-level administrative and analytical skills to advance the needs of the department.

Ability to make independent decisions to ensure optimal system functionality.

Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and deal with frequent changes or unexpected events.

Must be able to develop strong working relationships with a customer service focus.

Physical Demands::
Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of work station and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, stooping, reaching, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift to 40 pounds.

Work Environment::
General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary and involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstations for extended periods. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
