Overview:
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
This position is responsible for providing technical subject matter expertise on ServiceNow capabilities and best practices as it relates to Hardware, Software, and Configuration Management. Evaluates current practices, collects information and product trends, and creates specifications to support business initiatives. Develops and implements process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the IT Asset Management technical subject matter expert on ServiceNow capabilities and best practices as it relates to Hardware, Software, and Configuration Management
Develop requirements and design solutions for new and enhanced processes withing IT Asset Management
Provide sustainable solutions that align with ServiceNow product roadmap and avoiding customization where possible
Utilize knowledge of ServiceNow current and upcoming functionality to advise team and stakeholders on best practices
Submit tickets and work with ServiceNow support and product teams to resolve issues
Provide day-to-day technical support and guidance for issues encountered in the ITAM
Develop and manage key relationships with peer roles within the enterprise including the ServiceNow Platform team and process owners.
Identifying opportunities and implementing enhancements based on new or upcoming ServiceNow functionality
Escalating any issues to the respective process owners and working with stakeholders for resolving issues
Work with internal teams to streamline and automate processes and reporting
Experience with third party tool integrations with ServiceNow (e.g. MECM, Intune, Jamf)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Technical work in Application Development, Server Administration, Information Security, or Engineering OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Technical work in Application Development, Server Administration, Information Security, or EngineeringPreferred Education: Bachelor DegreePreferred Area of Study: Computer SciencePreferred Area of Experience: MS.NET; ASP.NET; SQL Scripting; Powershell Scripting; Windows Server Administration; Project ManagementSkill(s): Advanced experience with modern technologies, prototyping, technical leadership, systems development lifecycle, communication and planning skills, Advanced knowledge in working with leadership to define strategy and approach for solving complicated technical problems, Proven ability to deliver solutions that solve complex problems, using thought leadership and independent thinking skills, Ability to lead others in the successful execution and delivery of long term, multi-layered projects and initiatives., Ability to clearly articulate complex processes/situations to executive leadership
