Eleven Recruiting is hiring a IT Support Analyst to support one of our largest aerospace manufacturing clients sitting onsite in Simi Valley, CA. This role will support both infrastructure and application solutions projects while providing IT endpoint support at the Simi Valley manufacturing facility. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and support of hardware and software essential for daily operations on the production floor, and the analyst will also collaborate with various departments to enhance process efficiency through application solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and provide general support for critical hardware and software in a manufacturing production environment.
Configure and implement application solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Backup production workstations and create an asset inventory and knowledge base for production data, software, and hardware solutions.
Document IT processes, application solutions, and an IT services catalog.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to document IT solutions and interfaces with production systems.
Perform troubleshooting using basic diagnostic techniques to resolve system issues.
Install or upgrade software on production workstations as required.
Build, install, and support workstations, IT equipment, and software applications under the guidance of the IT team.
Assist the IT team in daily operations, contributing to various activities.
Analyze system issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Build an IT services catalog to improve user understanding of IT offerings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, interacting with customers regularly.
Experience with the following:
Maintenance and support of computer hardware or related equipment.
Nice to Have(s):
Microsoft Certified Professional
CompTIA certifications
Database and scripting experience (e.g., SQL, Shell scripting).
Experience with Jira
Working knowledge of Power BI
Manufacturing environment experience
