Position Title: Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
Location: Remote (100%)
Duration: Long Term
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) to lead technical implementation and oversight of solutions on Pega-based platforms for our internal project with the IRS. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the solution architecture, guiding technical teams, and ensuring adherence to Pega's best practices while contributing to all stages of the project lifecycle. This position requires strong technical expertise in the Pega platform, along with leadership and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders, manage issues, and optimize project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and oversight for Pega-based solution architecture and design throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement complex Business Process Management (BPM) solutions.
Lead technical teams in the construction, customization, and integration of Pega components according to business requirements and Pega best practices.
Engage in systems validation and defect resolution to ensure high-quality solutions.
Collaborate with project leaders and client stakeholders to guide project direction, manage high-level issues, and ensure successful delivery.
Develop detailed project plans, including resource and budget management, to support smooth project execution.
Stay current with evolving Pega technology trends and provide guidance on best practices, governance, and implementation methodologies.
Qualifications:
Pega CSSA Certification (Certified Senior System Architect) is required.
5+ years of experience working with Pegasystems Platform, with a deep understanding of Pega architecture and functionality.
5+ years of experience in designing, building, and implementing BPM solutions across various technology platforms.
Proven ability to work within a team structure, demonstrating leadership across multiple project roles.
Experience in Java/J2EE development and integration with Pega-based systems.
Exposure to different industries and specific business solutions is a plus.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
Must be able to obtain IRS clearance.
Preferred Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure project timelines are met.
Experience with Agile or other iterative project methodologies.
