Broker Operations Technical Analyst
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Broker Operations Technical Analyst for a contract position in Minnetonka, MN. The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary: This position is critical to help stabilize the commission process and will be working on responding to broker commission inquiries and processing commission payouts. The ideal candidate has commission experience and strong analytical skills. The Broker Operations Technical Analyst II role resides on the Broker Operations team. The role will be a key player in ensuring accurate and timely commission payouts. The role will involve managing the end-to-end commission payment process, collaborating with various teams, and leveraging expertise to ensure the smooth execution of commission-related activities.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Commission Payment Analysis (40%)
Utilize ICM to process commission payments in accordance with established rules, sales performance metrics, and contractual terms.
Calculate and process manual commission payments.
Data Analysis and Validation (25%)
Analyze commission payment data to validate calculations, identify discrepancies, and resolve any payment-related issues.
Conduct regular audits to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
Reconcile commission payments with sales data and sales representatives' records, ensuring accuracy and alignment.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between calculated commissions and actual payments.
Reporting and Documentation (20%)
Generate commission payment reports for distribution to relevant stakeholders.
Maintain detailed documentation of commission payment processes, changes, and agreements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration (15%)
Collaborate closely with sales, finance, and IT teams to align commission payment processes, address inquiries, and resolve issues.
Collaborate with IT teams to address system-related queries and challenges.
Qualifications:
Minimum education level required to qualify for the position: Bachelors degree or equivalent
Minimum years of experience required in the field to qualify for the position: 3
Very strong written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate experience in Excel
Minimum 3 years of recent experience executing commission payments
Experience with payment software solutions
Strong drive for results and accountability
Exceptional judgment and decision-making capabilities
