Role : SQE/QA Automation engineer (Wi-Fi CPE devices)
Location: Bethpage, NY (Day 1 onsite)

Primary skills/experience
Proficiency in variety of programming languages (Python, Java, C#)
Tool/API testing on network devices
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins).
How are the primary skills/experience applied?
Create test scripts for testing Broadband Gateway Automation.
Secondary skills/experience
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi standards).
Experience with performance testing and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, iPerf).
Demonstrated experience solving performance and data issues by applying experience/knowledge.
Completely comfortable working with live production systems, debugging issues and taking careful actions with protections against damage.
Thorough understanding of software methodologies and DevOps practices.

How are the secondary skills/experience applied?
Use JIRA to create defects and track them to closure. JIRA to be used as an Agile tool to track user stories and project sprints. Helps in setting up and debugging the environment, lifecycle, understanding of deployment.
Tracking tools for task management.
Tertiary skills/experience
Experience with Google cloud or Amazon Web Services and their capabilities.
Experience with the implementation and optimization CI/CD Pipelines.
Experience with data formats and locality with performance considerations.
Contributes to establishing and maintaining corporate policies related to technology.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
