Job Description: 

As an IT Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, including large-scale application development, systems integration, and operational improvements. The role will require experience in both traditional project management and scaled agile methodologies as the organization transitions to a scaled agile model. You will manage all aspects of the project life cycle, ensure high-caliber deliverables, and work closely with stakeholders and team members to meet strategic goals and drive execution.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Define, plan, and deliver multiple strategic initiatives across business, operational, and IT deliverables 

Ensure high-quality results with clearly articulated scope and measurable business benefits 

Manage large-scale, complex projects involving multiple partners and constituents 

Oversee all phases of project life cycle and rigorously manage scope, timelines, and budgets 

Validate financial forecasts and track resources, ensuring accurate capacity planning 

Define and track project milestones, maintaining integrated delivery plans 

Manage project risks and issues and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders 

Partner with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to support Agile development practices 

Foster strong team relationships and facilitate conflict resolution 

Mentor and guide team members, helping to remove roadblocks and drive project success 

 

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: 

8+ years of experience managing large, complex, cross-functional projects, focusing on technical and system environments 

Proven experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and others 

Strong financial management skills, with experience handling project budgets over $3M 

Ability to communicate effectively with officer-level audiences and stakeholders 

Expertise in various software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and SAFe 

Proven track record of building trust, mobilizing teams, and delivering results in ambiguous environments 

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience 

 

Desired Skills: 

Strongly preferred experience in scaled agile methodologies 

Background in contact center technology (phone/IVR, chat, SMS) 

Financial services industry experience is a plus 

PMP or PMI-ACP certification 

 

 

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
