What You Will Do:

 

The Web, LMS and CRM Administrator is responsible for effectively managing and supporting the university’s web and learning management systems. This includes overseeing our Salesforce environments, managing the TerminalFour CMS, and handling the local LMS environment (D2L). The role will also involve working with the LMS API, configuring external services or products to integrate with various systems, extracting data for reporting, and leading monthly testing and updates for the D2L system. The administrator ensures seamless system operations, enhances efficiency, and provides critical insights for the university through data analysis.

Essential Responsibilities:
Oversee and provide support  operational functions of our Salesforce enrollment and advancement CRM instances at NLU. This includes managing data integrity, user training, system customization, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient and effective use of the CRM systems

Manage and assist with the operations of the TerminalFour CMS serving the University. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing technical support, creating and maintaining documentation for CMS processes, and customizing the CMS to meet the specific needs of the organization

Utilize the LMS's API for automating tasks, integrating external services, and extracting data for reporting purposes, enhancing operational efficiency and providing insights into system usage

Manage local aspects of the hosted LMS and associated systems, including a video platform, utilizing system data

Take the lead in monthly testing and implementation of continuous delivery updates for D2L

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred or minimum of three years of related experience in the field

Some experience configuring, managing and troubleshooting a Learning Management System

Familiarity with web technologies and concepts such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, Rest API etc. 

Understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL for managing user data, course content, and system logs

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

Skills in integrating the LMS with various third-party tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365) through APIs, LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability), and other methods.

Exposure to REST APIs

Data Analysis and Reporting: Skills in generating and analyzing reports from the LMS to inform decisions on course design and system improvements.
