?The Data Centers Network Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of our large enterprise network. As a member of a Data Centers' Networking Team, you will be asked to design and integrate computer networks which enable data transfer and communications between different computer systems, online networks and databases. To do this work you should be able to configure, support and troubleshoot the Expeditors global and local networks. These network connections are the bedrock of Expeditors branch and Data Center infrastructure and global operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Be a collaborative member of a highly motivated and agile team
Develop and maintain self-service technology and monitoring systems
Apply technical skills in the design, development, integration, and testing of networking components
Installing and configuring network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls
Work with the Cyber Security Team to develop, implement and maintain industry standard security practices
Conducting regular network maintenance, including updating software and hardware.
Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.
