Overview:
Prototype Work | Growth | New State-of-the-Art Machines
Located in Franklin, IN, this prototype shop has engineered parts for automotive, aerospace, medical, and other manufacturing industries for the last 30+ years. Their 20+ person and 20+ machine shop works with customers to provide quality parts from multi-axis mills, lathe, mill turn, and more (plus more machines on their way!). This shop also maintains a clean work environment in a temperature controlled, modern facility.
In this role, you will take parts from cradle to grave, programming at the machine on GibbsCAM, setting up, and operating a mixture of mills, lathes, and other machinery.
Working hours are on a 4x10, 3rd shift starting at 6 PM with some overtime available.

Responsibilities:
Program parts at on GibbsCAM
Set up and operate mill, lathe, and other machines as needed
Perform 1st article inspection
Other duties as needed in the shop
Qualifications:
Experience setting up and operating 3 -5 axis mills and/or lathes
Experience programming parts on GibbsCAM or other CAM software
Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, indicators, and the like)
Ability to read and understand drawings
Strong desire to learn and grow with the company!
