Tester (Microsoft Test Manager, SQL/PLSQL scripting, Agile/Scrum/ Kanban, Azure DevOps)

The Tester will work closely with agency business staff, stakeholders and the project team to review and validate deployed development of requirements for the SSP Self-Service site and its associated business processes. They will also lead the effort to develop, communicate, and maintain methodologies and standards to promote a consistent approach to testing throughout the Project and in supporting/maintaining the System.

The candidate of this position will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Review requirements and develop comprehensive test plans to validate that implementation meets the client's needs

Assist in testing of SSP Self Service solution

Testing Web Interfaces

Testing Batch processes using Soap UI

Create / Execute automated regression test scripts as required.

Automated Testing Tool experience (Microsoft Test Manager)

SQL experience to query results and build data sets for testing

Create load / stress testing scripts as required

Analyze test results and report issues/bugs.

Utilize Azure DevOps

Tester

Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams. Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence.

Expert 84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

84 months of experience planning, designing, developing and executing test strategies based on software specifications. Experience must include creating test plans, test schedules, test reports, and creating test strategies

84 months of experience planning, designing, developing and executing batch process and Restful API's tests using Soap UI, XML and JSON

84 months of experience coordinating, tracking, and analyzing testing activities working directly with business analysts, business and technical subject matter experts. Experience must include use of a defect management tools to identify, document, track and communicate problems to technical staff.

84 Months of experience in Microsoft Test Manager creating test plans

84 Months of experience in SQL/PLSQL scripting

84 Months of experience in Agile/Scrum/ Kanban methodology

84 Months of experience in Azure DevOps Bug management and reporting
