Job Requirements / Description
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with process, engineering, and production teams to assess requirements and influence the design of automation systems.
Play a key role in the development and implementation of innovative automation technologies, balancing speed, simplicity, and scalability.
Engage with a broad network of stakeholders, including Global IT, process and engineering leads, and multiple external suppliers.
Implement automation solutions in various domains, including intralogistics, WH, and fill-and-pack operations.
Ensure that automation systems comply with GMP requirements (preferred, but not mandatory).
Requirements:
Experience with warehouse operations and intralogistics systems, and the tools required to create efficient automation solutions.
Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: MES, PCS, IoT, PLC, and Industry 4.0.
Experience implementing SCADA or IT systems in an operational technology (OT) setting.
Experience with instrumentation and control, cabling, and LV electrical systems. Ideally, experience with automation systems in large-scale facilities projects.
Expertise in fill-and-pack processes, with a preference for experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Ability to define IT requirements for computerized equipment and automation systems, ensuring GMP compliance and long-term system optimization.
Proven experience in software validation, particularly in intralogistics or related systems.
Knowledge of GMP compliance (preferred but not required).
Expertise in key automation technologies and systems, such as MES, PCS, IoT, PLC, Industry 4.0, and SCADA.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with a broad network of internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred, especially in QC and fill-and-pack operations.
The project is contingent upon the successful outcome of the RFP process.
Start date is flexible depending on project timelines.
