Job Title: IT Systems Analyst

Job Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ months (Can be extendable)

Notes: All work must be completed on site once Covid-19 is contained.

Description:

Client is seeking a senior IT Systems Analyst to perform Analytical and Technical work related to enhancements and operations of the Managed Care Transformation .

Client is seeking a senior IT Systems Analyst to perform Analytical and Technical work related to enhancements and operations of the Managed Care Transformation.

This position will need to work with multiple vendors, division staff and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and providing technical support/guidance.

This position involves the ability to research and analyze complex healthcare data from variety of sources to evaluate, define, design, and implement technical solutions based on the Federal and State Medicaid requirements.

This position is responsible for the design and development of the interfaces across Medicaid internal and external. In addition, this position is responsible for creating and delivering reports and metrics using various

SAS Business Intelligence tools utilizing data and information from NC Analytics Data warehouse. This position will also need to work with SQL queries to analyze data and create ad-hoc reports to support Business needs and requests.

This involves validating input files and formats as per the data mapping artifacts, architecting output datasets, and validating data based on the requirements, quality assurance of data.

This position prefers experience working with Single Sign On applications and knowledge of Client's system for login.

Excellent written and oral communication and ability to facilitate small to large meetings Required

Managing and Working with Multiple Vendors. Required.

Demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements and developing of business rules and process flows. Required.

Demonstrated proficiency working with one or more databases - Oracle, MS SQL

Server.

Experience developing SQL queries. Required

Hands-on experience in different file transfer methodologies and different file types and layouts such as csv, txt, XML, etc.

Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions

Knowledge of Agile Methodology

Ability to communicate effectively and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills:

Experience working with multiple vendors.

Should have the capability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Project Management Experience Strong understanding of healthcare claims processing - Claims, Provider, Eligibility, Members

Working knowledge of Medicaid and/or MMIS

Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions.

Demonstrated proficiency working with databases - Oracle (11) ,MS SQLServer etc. DB2

Experience developing SQL queries.

SAS programming knowledge in SAS tools (Base SAS 9.4, SAS Macro, SAS BI Suite, Data Integration studio, Enterprise guide, etc.).

Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability present to both technical and business audiences.
