About Client:

The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.
Rate Range: $65-$70/Hr
Location: Wilmington, DE Jersey City, NJ and Columbus, OH.
Job Description:
Develop, test, and maintain Java applications in a cloud-based environment using AWS services.
Design and implement scalable and high-performance solutions leveraging AWS infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design system architecture.
Implement and manage cloud-based resources such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more.
Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and reliability of AWS-hosted applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack and provide effective solutions.
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Java development and AWS services.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and API Gateway.
Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and integrating with AWS services.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
