Job Description
As the System Admin - Sr on the End User Technology team. You are responsible for several vital end user facing applications in the Credit Union. This includes monitoring the environment, resolution of incidents, upholding security, testing business continuity, creating scripted automations, developing processes, and innovating with technologies. This position will also act as an IT End User Technology Subject Matter Expert for maintaining portions of the applications stack. This position oversees the company's computer systems, including the operating system, servers/desktops and application software used, installs, configures, upgrades, and repairs operating systems and software. You will configure user groups and security measures in Active Directory, configure company messaging services, maintain email services, ensure network connectivity and implement security policies. The position will also require on call, and after hours work when needed. Jobs in this family perform proactive and preventative tasks. Such as, but not limited to, analytics monitoring, capacity management, patching systems, and replacement end of life equipment.
Essential Functions
Subject Matter Expert: Provides technical leadership and guidance to more junior team members. Performs troubleshooting and resolution on systems and applications. Work with Infrastructure and our Enterprise Application Support team to maintain End User Applications.
Incident Support: Supports the incident management processes. Able to monitor ticket queues and resolve production server and application related issues to ensure the restoration of the environment.
Manage, monitor and maintain Microsoft Office365 services, including EntraID, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management.
Monitoring / Maintenance: Repairs, upgrades, and provides preventative maintenance on applications owned by the team. Proactively monitors all platforms, ensuring uptime, performance, and service levels are always maintained for all production systems.
Innovation: Creates new processes for better support and training. Creating new automation to reduce human error. Innovate on technology.
End User Technology Support: Provides 7 x 24 EUT support as part of the regular on-call rotation.
Configure and maintain Active Directory services, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP as well as File Server NTFS permissions.
Work with project managers to complete tasks related to enterprise applications. Deploy, configure, document and hand off to internal teams to support.
Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
