Software Engineer Controls

Skills Required: 

3+ experience utilizing models to develop and verify mixed hardware & embedded software systems.

3+ year of Matlab / Simulink / Stateflow. This may include academic experience.

3+ years programming background (C, C++, Python) 

Skills Preferred: 

5+ years of experience in automotive mechatronic simulation

3+ years of (combined) version control and automation (ClearCase, AccuRev, GitHub, Jenkins)

Experience in embedded controls in electrified vehicle systems, driver assist technologies

Experience with hands-on software testing and problem solving in simulation, hardware in the loop systems, and prototype vehicles

Experience with CAN networks and tools (CANalyzer, CANape, ATI Vision, etc.)

Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

Strong technical analysis skills and the ability to create new solutions

Initiative, resilience, a strong work ethic and a desire for continuous learning 

Experience Required: 

3 years 

Experience Preferred: 

5 years 

Education Required: 

Master’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Automotive / Computer Engineering 

Education Preferred: 

PhD. degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Automotive / Computer Engineering or Controls related field.
