The scope of this project focuses on the data and integration side, specifically targeting developers with expertise in integrations, primarily through API development.
The key deliverables for the person in this role include creating and managing API integrations to serve internal front-end teams, as well as potential third-party teams. The front-end requirements will vary based on the specific team for which the integration is being developed, but the core of the work will always revolve around API-driven data integrations.
The work is expected to adapt depending on the specific integration needs of each customer.
What does a typical day look like?
These resources will work in Agile teams and therefore are expected to attend a daily standup in addition to any relevant meeting with our solution architecture team(s).
From there, the resources primary focus will be building integrations through Apigee, Informatica and maybe AWS. For the most part, this resource will be considered more of an individual contributor.
What are the main technology application/software skills/experience this resource will be required to possess? The main technology and software skills required for this role include Apigee and Informatica: These are critical tools for the current phase of the project, with Informatica being essential for hands-on work.
AWS:
Experience with AWS is important, particularly as the project shifts more toward AWS in the future. Specific AWS services such as SNS, SQS, and Lambda are highly desirable.
API Development:
A strong understanding of API standards, integration patterns, and best practices is crucial, as the role is heavily focused on API-driven integrations.
Data and Integration (DNI):
A solid grasp of the principles and practices surrounding data integration is also essential. In addition, having a general knowledge of best practices and standards in integration development is key to success in this role.
