The IT Procurement Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the organization’s IT procurement and asset management processes. This position involves evaluating needs, negotiating contracts, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective acquisition of IT equipment and services. Key elements of the IT Procurement role are contract initiation and negotiation, contract life cycle management, risk assessment, legal department coordination, vendor management, budget management, and providing guidance to direct reports in procurement and contracts role. In addition, this role will help to lead Skanska’s technology vendor evaluation process utilizing Onetrust.

 

IT Procurement Manager Required Qualifications:

3+ years of supervisory experience 

3+ years of demonstrated understanding of procurement principles, practices and methodologies

3+ years of experience with sourcing strategies, contract negotiation and vendor management

Experience with hardware, software, cloud services, and licensing models

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
