1) Microcontroller/DSP
2) Analog Designs
3) Digital Circuits/Designs
4) Schematics & BOM
5) Functional Tetsing
Hardware engineers must be fluent in the following:
Altium Designer Preferred
SPICE Preferred
MS Office Excel, Visio, Word, etc.
Hardware engineers must be familiar with the following:
Autodesk Inventor
Ansys Electronics Desktop
Enovia PLM
Git (version control concepts and workflow)
Azure DevOps
Bonus if Hardware engineers are familiar with the following:
Siemens/Mentor Graphics PADS and Xpedition
Programming or scripting knowledge for operating and debugging hardware and test setups (C, C#, Python, LabVIEW, etc.)
