Job Title: IT Project Manager II
Duration: 6-month contract (opportunity for an extension)
Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $67.74 $70.97 per hour
The role involves leading and managing iterative product development projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. The candidate will oversee multiple agile teams, including geographically diverse teams both onsite and offshore. This position requires effective coordination, communication, and collaboration to support the digitization of Utility line operations using a cloud platform (AWS, Snowflake).
Position Responsibilities
Engage with stakeholders and contribute to program strategy and presentations.
Coordinate progress, mitigate risks and impediments.
Track project planning and progress with team members.
Conduct weekly meetings with the hiring manager.
Set up the roadmap and program milestones in the initial weeks/months.
Engage stakeholders and provide regular reports.
Facilitate team norming and budget planning.
Position Requirements
Lead and manage iterative product development projects.
Oversee multiple agile teams, including offshore teams.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Overall planning, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Experience in risk and dependencies management (nice to have).
Budget management (nice to have).
Proficiency in project management tools, including JIRA (nice to have).
5-7 years of experience in a related field.
Utilities experience is nice to have but not required.
PMP and Scrum Master certifications are nice to have but not required.
