Job Title: Technical Lead
Location: Remote (100%) - Candidates must be local to the DMV area

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with proven experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to join our team. This role will provide technical leadership for a large-scale modernization effort and driving the successful implementation of business process management (BPM) solutions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on development experience, expertise in DevSecOps practices, and a solid background in Agile methodologies. Candidates must be able to navigate complex case management systems and lead teams in an agile, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee a large team of technical professionals in the execution of a large-scale modernization project.
Provide technical leadership in cloud environments, specifically AWS /Azure/GCP, ensuring best practices in architecture and deployment.
Drive Business Process Management (BPM) implementations and oversee the integration of BPM tools within the project.
Ensure that DevSecOps principles are embedded across all stages of development, including CI/CD pipelines, security, and automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver case management solutions.
Act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders and ensure project alignment with standards and guidelines.
Utilize Agile methodologies to deliver incremental value, facilitating sprints and ensuring seamless project progression.
Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring skill development and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications:
Deep understanding of federal projects.
Proven experience leading teams of 40-50 resources in large-scale, cloud-based modernization projects.
Cloud expertise in AWS and/or Azure, with hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
Strong background in DevSecOps practices, including security automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
Hands-on development experience in case management or related systems, with a strong understanding of modern development frameworks.
Expertise in BPM implementations, including tool selection and integration with large enterprise systems.
Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile environment, leading sprints, and driving collaboration among cross-functional teams.
Local to the DMV area (Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia), though this is a 100% remote position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with large modernization efforts for federal agencies.
Experience with cloud migration and legacy system modernization.
Certifications in AWS, Azure, DevSecOps, or Agile methodologies.
