Responsibilities:
The NiFi project team requires a Systems Administrator who will have the opportunity to provide:
Linux systems deployment
Systems patching and upgrades
Software installation and configuration
IAVA patching and documentation creation and maintenance.
Monitoring and initial troubleshooting of Linux based systems.
Creating POA&M's as necessary
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Five (5) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 2 years of Linux Systems Administration experience administering user accounts, performing server subsystem configuration, network management, installation of software, performing backups, configuration management, and general system maintenance.
DOD 8570 Required
TS/SCI with polygraph
IAVAs STE/STN and system patching
Experience with Elastic Search functionality
Knowledge of Network Protocols
Experienced providing customer support
Understanding of fundamental networking and distributed computing environment concepts, Linux desktop systems, performance tuning and capacity planning of servers (hardware and software levels)
Ability to write Shell and SALT scripts.
Write and maintain system technical documentation.
A self-starter who can work closely with the team, but require little oversight in completing requires SA tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS basic knowledge
Dataflow understanding
Experience / familiarity with NiFi

Target Salary Range:
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
