Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX, Pennington, NJ, and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Manage/Coordinate resources within and across various lines of business and has matrix management responsibility
Balance soft skills, technical requirements, scheduling, milestone delivery of the technical solution
Define and evaluate problems and plans effective solutions
Identify possible issues before they become an issue and successfully mitigate to keep the project (and personnel) on schedule
Present progress as well as issues and be able to provide possible solutions as well as take constructive criticism and not let it affect you
Understand stakeholder's expectations and objectives
Set and continually manage project expectations with management, team members and stakeholders
Requirements:
Ability to identify changing priorities within the project and move resources to continue the most effective use of the resources as many times you are competing for their time with other concurrent projects
Required to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative manner
Basic understanding of Cisco voice and/or Telepresence technologies
Adaptive learning capability to utilize new systems and/or processes
Microsoft Productivity Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook)
Desired skills:
Change Management Tools and deployment methodologies
Network Knowledge (cabling and switches)
Prior experience working in a large company in a technology role
