Overview:
The Data Scientist will provide support necessary to assess current data holdings, determine the extent of data holdings to merge, create a consolidated data model, and establish a process for cleaning up and migrating historic data.
Data ScientistThe Sponsor is preparing to consolidate data holdings across multiple operations disciplines. The Sponsor requires support necessary to assess current data holdings, determine the extent of data holdings to merge, create a consolidated data model, and establish a process for cleaning up and migrating historic data. The work will be performed within a team environment with engagement across multiple contracts and organizational groups. The Data Scientist will do the following: identify similarities and differences in data models between an enterprise relational database system (SQL) and an enterprise application with a document database system (Mongo) backend, make recommendations for enterprise system updates to enable data currently stored in SQL to be housed by the Mongo system, and design, develop, test, and execute python code to extract, transform, and load data from the SQL system into the Mongo system.
1. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience modeling data objects in relational and document (No-SQL) databases 2. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience designing and updating JSON data objects 3. (Mandatory) Demonstrated effective communication working in diverse teams 4. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experienced with REST APIs (GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE) 5. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with Python 6. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with SQL 7. (Desired) Demonstrated experience moving data between different networks 8. (Desired) Demonstrated experience automating or scripting
MUST be a US Citizen with a U.S. Government clearance - Intel with Polygraph
NOTE: Must have an active TS-SCI with poly. No sponsorships or upgrades are available. Submissions without this requirement will not be considered. H1-B holders will not be considered.
